Utilities - Water Boiler Hire - 250 kW Boiler Hire - Scotland
One of the largest water treatment works in Scotland, at Banchory near Aberdeen, recently underwent a major cleaning operation. However existing plant was unable to supply the large volume of hot water required.
What Did We Do?
Our regional sales manager for Scotland, received a call from the customer to discuss the possibility of a temporary boiler hire solution. He attended the site and carried out a survey to establish the scale of the task and the requirements. He then drew up a plan for a boiler, tank and generator to be installed, to enable the work on the water treatment membranes to go ahead.
How Did We Do It?
We supplied a CRS 250 boiler hire package from our range of 240v single-phase boilers, which extends up to the CRS 400 Boiler. This range of high power, low power input boilers was recently introduced as a replacement for the previous 415v (three phase) hire boilers, providing customers with a highly efficient and flexible alternative.

The Results
The CRS 250 boiler and generator package was supplied, installed, and commissioned by Carrier Rental Systems as planned, enabling the production of large volumes of hot water required for the successful intensive cleaning of water treatment membranes.
